Christopher J. Reed award 2016

This year, Carol Ryan, a founding-member of the APEM, will be honored for her career and commitment in the music field.

Active in the industry for many years, she still manages the copyright office for Cirque du Soleil that she had developed.

Since 2013 the Christopher J. Reed award, in honour of the founder of Intermède Music who passed away in 2012, honors a person every year of the professional community. The recipient must have shown a great respect for creators and copyright, and made an outstanding contribution to the recognition of the music publishing business, as did Christopher J. Reed.

The awarding of the 2016 prize will take place on June 16 in Montreal at the Maison du Festival Rio Tinto Alcan.
