Following the tragic events which took place on January 29 in Quebec City, LaPresse + invited three artists, Ariane Moffatt, La Bronze and Karim Ouellet, to take up the song “Aimons-nous quand même” written by Yvon Deschamps and composed by Jacques Perron, a work co-edited by Intermede. The composer Maxime Jacquet released in 2016 the album Story of a Life – Cinematic Orchestral and Piano Scores with Intermède Music. Interested in different musical genres such as Jazz, Rock, Metal, Industrial and Classical, Maxime Jacquet has a particular interest in orchestral music and music for video games. After completing classical piano studies at the Conservatory in France, Maxime headed towards composition for film by getting a Masters in Music for Applied Visual Arts (MAAAV) at the University of Lyon. He then studied at the University of Montreal in symphonic orchestration and interactive music for video games.
